    Marmite actually pre-dates Vegemite. But I am an american and like both. From what I read the Marmite made in new zealand isn’t as strong, and has sugar or something added. You might see it in Australia as “Our Mate” cause they can’t use the brand name, but they ship it over and package it there using that name.

    I’ve been waiting for some vegamite recipes! I lived in Oz for about 6 months and developed a taste for vegemite, but always wondered what you could do with it as far as cooking is concerned. Great vid!

    May you should mix the vegemite with some hot water or milk to make a
    smoother paste.And you can season the paste with
    tabasco sauce or cayenn pepper to make it less salty.
    And as a side dish you can serve carrots & peas.

    They’re called different things in different places. Chips are thinly sliced and deep fried potatoes salted and sometimes have flavors here in the states. Fries are what Nicko made.
