Large Family makes STRAWBERRY PRETZEL DESSERT

Hey everyone, I hope your week is going wonderfully. This is one of our favorite dessert recipes. We make it every year for my son, Collin’s birthday. I hope you enjoy. As with all my recipes, you can visit my blog www.plainandnotsoplain.com for complete recipes. Be blessed.

  1. Looks great! I haven't made this for years – we won't have strawberries for at least a month here but I definitely need to make this again this year! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of food processor do you have – ours needs to be replaced and yours does a great job!

  2. My family makes a kind of similar dessert using (crushed) saltine crackers, vanilla putting, cool whip and the strawberry jello mixture. I enjoy the sweet and salty mixture so I will defiantly have to try this.

  3. Good choice! I make a similar version using frozen strawberries that are mixed in with the jello. For a little extra tang, I substitute sour cream for some of the cool whip to taste. Sprinkle some roughly crushed pretzels on top. Thanks for sharing your family’s version of this yummy dish.

  4. This is our family's favorite recipe for strawberry pretzel salad. https://www.pauladeen.com/recipe/strawberry-pretzel-salad/

Happiest of Days to your son. I love this dessert, and I, as a rule, hate jello. I have found that an egg slicer makes quick work of slicing strawberries – and they all come out the same width. Thanks!

  9. We make the cherry cheesecake delight at home with canned cherries, whipped cream, cream cheese and powdered sugar on a buttered graham cracker crust. We loved it so much I made it twice a week. Had to cut back but now I have to try your strawberry dessert. 😊🍧🍧🍓🍓🍰🍰🍦🍦

  10. Happy birthday to your son! This looks delicious, thank you for sharing!
