  1. I did it, it was delicious! Thank you for making people better cooks!

  2. in this recipe you said that dry sherry can be subbed for sake, is that always the case? or certain recipes need to have that authentic sake flavor?

  3. I just made this. I usually don't comment but it came out so amazing!!

  4. I just use sugar, black pepper, soy sauce, sometimes garlic powder, sometimes ginger powder. Sometimes i add diced onions.
But recently, ive just been using the pre made stuff. Its just convenient. Then i throw in shrimp, & vegetables. If theyre around.
My friend recently has seen me make it. She so 'tarded. She'll eat chunks of everything, (when i didnt make it for her) then be like that fish dont look cooked. Like bish, do u not realize fish is the quickest thing to cook, & salmon is always pink? Even if its cooked? I thought this was general knowledge. Some ppl… i swear! I wonder about them sometimes. I wonder how theyve managed to survive in life as long as they have. This is a mother of young adults as well. All like "no ones ever taught me…" type thing. But its like (?) Youre in your 30s… how have you not even taught yourself sh by now tho? Shes not always the brightest. Not as bright as she would hope. The f? This gal…

  5. Hello, I like your recipes however, in this one, You show one amount on the video and anther on the listing. What is what?

  7. I love salmon. Thank you for the video

  8. Tip – instead of Sake or Mirin I've discovered cheap vermouth from your local Aldi or Lidle. It doesn't have that hard wine taste, is cheaper than sherry and I have no interest in drinking it! 70cl bottle of extra dry vermouth can be bought for like 6 bucks ne!

  9. no ginger?

  10. Thank you for sharing. I followed your acxact recipe. It is the best Salmon Teriyaki I have ever mode. Two thumbs up. Love it!!!

I made this many times but using Rice wine because I don't have Sake. I also omitted salt on fish because the sauce turned so salty. So easy and so delicious my family loves it especially my picky little ones. Tonight, I'll try it using Sake for the first time.

  32. Thank You very much for the amazing recipe! 🙂

  33. What kind of stove is that? it looks awesome

  34. I made this yesterday and it tasted amazing. I tried so many recipes this is the best recipe for me. The salmon is so moist I never use flour to cover salmon before pan fried and never use sake when pan fried salmon too. But this both technique made a huge different to my salmon and your teriyaki sauce is the bomb. But I grated a little bit of ginger and garlic. All in all I am so happy with salmon teriyaki because it tastes so scrumptious 🙂 , thank you so much for sharing.

  35. I just wanted to say that you inspired me to cook, Namiko. When I look at your techniques at cutting and compare to myself, it makes me look stupid hehe… But, I'm really glad i saw this channel. I've always wanted to try but I was afraid of failure and that people would not like to eat my food so i always ask if it tastes good. I'm still scared that someone might say its not good but I learned to move on from that and learned that its about what you feel inside that counts. Just wanted to tell you that I finally picked up cooking because of you. Thanks a lot, Namiko. Oh! One more thing, I made this recipe the other day and it was so good. It even made my dad smile for once at my cooking saying that he doesn't need to cook for me no more.

  36. Very delicious and it works well with rice flour too. Thanks!

  37. Finding this channel was like stumbling upon a gold mine < 3I made the Gyudon yesterday and it was so tasty I loved it!
