  5. For recipes that call for tofu to me coated in a sauce/glaze I prefer to fry the tofu after lightly coating it in cornstarch. I think it creates a better crispy outside w/ a soft inside texture than the baking method.

    I never enjoyed baking my tofu and drying it out, it creates too tough of a texture for me. If anyone else feels the same way, try the method of lightly coating it in cornstarch then frying it.

  10. I'm weird. I slice tofu cold toss it in some toasted bread, with spinach leaves, tomato, onions , veggie mayo, hot sauce, spicy mustard. OMG i can eat a sandwich like that every day. I know its strange.

  13. I love this video but i’m bot sure if this is a recent thing but I’m sensitive to sound so maybe it’s just me. In your voiceovers it seems like you’re.. not really whispering but just talking strangely and it’s difficult to listen to. Maybe that’s just me I’m not sure 🤷🏼‍♀️

  15. I recently made tofu Ricotta for homemade lasagna & my family could not tell that it wasn't real cheese. They loved it! Firm tofu blended in food processor with nooch, salt, white miso, garlic and onion powder (or garlic & onions finely diced and sauteed in water until soft).

  17. it's funny because i use mainly tofu for cake or ganache dessert. i don't really eat it for salt recipe unless it is for tortilla espanola or scramble egg like.
