British Pork Pie @Pie Recipes

In this video I show you how to make a tasty British Pork Pie. Pork pies were alledgedly invented in the British Midlands town of Melton Mowbray. The seasoned pork filling is enclosed in crunchy hot water pastry, with some savoury jelly between the pork and the pastry. Pork pies are normally eaten cold, but they are quite delicious when still warm, when the jelly isn’t fully set and it dribbles down your chin as you eat the pie. A true British classic recipe!

  12. Looks good, however I've found that a hot water crust by design will hold it's shape, so you don't necessarily need the springform tin.
